New pictures....Finally

This was my attempt at creative photography...It really is hard to take a bad picture of her though!

It's like having a doll and dressing it up to take pictures of it! I know I had more fun than she did!

We went outside this day because it was hot outside, but I was afraid of her head burning. She actually seemed to like her little do rag! So I just left it on her.


It was just too cute to take off of her...AND check out those chins!!!You know how I love to watch my baby sleep! This day she really did play 'til she dropped!

Just hanging out on her swing out back. She is such a chunky butt! At 5 1/2 months old, she is now 16 pounds and 10 ounces! Sitting up, but not yet crawling!

OK, yes, I do just dress her up and take pictures, but don't all moms do that?

I just want to put her on a cracker and gobble her up!!!

Another Milestone....

I could just sop her up with a biscuit!!!!She loves playing with her feet.


She can actually be very helpful now during diaper changes.
She is even more aware and inquisitive these days. She is really into people.
MILESTONE!!! Look who sits up unassisted now.......

She plays briefly on her elevated tummy-time bug, but she hates it....here she is yelling (loudly) for me to get her off of it!She is giggling a lot now and it is adorable!

Just look at her sit up! Who knew you could get excited over such stuff?

Still giggling....Such a happy baby!!

More fun with feet
She LOVES playtime with Daddy. She does everything he does.....so watch it, Dad!
Our living room is trashed. It is no longer ours, it appears to have been taken over by Romper Room.

First Meal

Ava's had her first "meal" night before last. She wouldn't have any part of rice cereal, so we tried carrots. She loved them!

We couldn't feed her fast enough, bless her heart! You know how I love to watch my baby sleep.....here is my little angel sleeping with her little angel! She is such a happy baby!
Here she is trying to figure out all the bells and whistles on her jump-up!
Mostly, she just "hangs out" instead of "jumping up".

She thinks her Mommy is very funny! Here she is laughing at me washing bottles....she's an easy audience!



She has learned to give a "raspberry" and does so now often and unprovoked....it's adorable!
